The Loockerman Letter
The folks at First Sothern Baptist once again used the
environs of Dover as a basis for its Christmas
production.  Specifically, they based the tale of a
redeeming and revealing letter left sixty years ago in a
time capsule upon the painting of a Loockerman Street
cornerstone (left).
Christmas 2012
In 1952, Everett
Bryan's Pharmacy
was the business
anchor at the corner
of Loockerman and
State, preceding the
current law office
Part of the action takes
place in a ficticious
boarding house called
Adner's.
After an on-stage
crucifixion,  Seger's
six-foot painted cutout
emerges from the
darkness, first
silhouetted against a
stormy sky, then
revealed as the
crucified Jesus.
Once again, new scenery was added to
the twelve periaktoi already in use.
