| The folks at the State Fair wanted to give Larry a venue where he would feel comfortable -- patriotic and down home. Seger provided just the right blend of Lady Liberty and West Virginia (although Larry is from Nebraska), going so far as to employ his mother-in-law's underwear (apologies to a fine lady) flapping in the evening breeze. A watering trough, urinal, toilet, ornamental windmill, pallets, wading pool, push mower, tires and dog house highlight the array. George Scuse's men scoured the fairgrounds for a good part of the "scenery" (bless them), even coming up with an old disk harrow and broken-down riding mower to complete the look. |
