Seger was asked by the City of
Wilmington to create a logo for its
new Fringe Festival planned for later
in the year.  Deciding he needed a
fresh outlook, he enlisted the
assistance of his seven-year-old
granddaughter, Meghan Sarah
McLaughlin of Saylorsburg,
Pennsylvania.  Together, they came
up with this engaging, colorful
design.
The committee decided to go with Seger's simpler,
more conventional logo about unconventional art,
poking fun at the iconic Caesar Rodney statue in
Rodney Square.
