Acts I & III The Town Square
Act II Dr. Coppelius' Workshop
Dr. Coppelius (Eddy Seger) celebrates the dancing of Coppelia (Swanhilda played by Julie Voshell) while Franz (Richard Hoskinson) is passed out on the table.
The always effervescent Marion Tracy asked Seger to create a set for the beautiful Delibes ballet in 1983. Together, with Ballet Mistress Tatiana Akinfieva Smith, he recreated the little European village and workshop essential to telling the story. The balcony is cantilevered.
