With the selection of
forty-four-year-old Alaska Governor
Sarah Palin to be his running mate,
John McCain "energized" his
faltering campaign so much so, that
some wondered who was leading the
ticket.  Of course, the Conservative
Right was thrilled, as were many
men (she WAS runner-up to Miss
Alaska).
